Women rock, both literally and figuratively! Women have been at the forefront of almost every musical revolution in the past century, including Rock and Roll. Yet, women's representation within the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is limited. It is reported that, "In the 27 years since the 'Hall' was founded, there have been 296 inductees, including bands, pioneers, producers and promoters. 40 have been women or had female members."  By our calculations, that's only 13.5% of all recipients.
